Albany Care - 2009 Art Show!
On September 5th, Albany Care held our Annual Art Show. The show was held in beautiful Gray Park, which is right across the street from the facility. Many talented artists from Albany Care, as well as artists from of our sister facility - Bryn Mawr Care, filled the park with hand made works of art. Residents spent months making quilts, beadwork, dolls, and paintings to sell in the show. After all their hard work the residents displayed and sold the art to staff and members of the community.
It was great to see residents light up as their art was being displayed. An activity such as this truly shows how creative and unique people are when they are given a creative outlet for their talents.
